Kantara
Kantara is situated at the southern end of the island. There are the ruins of the ancient city Meninx. Visitors can see the remains of a Christian basilica. But it is especially the Roman road with a length of 6 km that connects the island to the mainland that is worth seeing.

Eriadh
The village of Eriadh, 9 km from Houmt-Souk, houses the jewish synagogue. This synagogue was built in 1920 in the same place of the oldest synagogue in Africa.
